Every winter, from mid June through until the end of September, Falls Creek Alpine Resort transforms itself almost magically into a spectacular winter wonderland that is one of Australia's premiere ski resorts offering all kinds of snow fun including downhill skiing and snowboarding and cross country skiing.

Falls Creek offers Australia's longest beginner run, Wombat's Ramble, the wide expanses of Drovers Dream, the fully sic terrain parks on Ruined Castle, a Super Pipe at the top of the Summit, and some of the countries wildest tree skiing in the advanced Maze area where powder stashes can be found long after the last snow dump (all snow dependant).
